Continuing the family legacy that began with her grandparents nearly seven decades ago, Jennifer created Sharratt Builders Inc. in 2019. As a licensed general contractor with an education specializing in architecture, Jennifer has a deep appreciation for design and a profound passion for building.
In 2003, Jennifer began working for Sharratt Construction under the leadership of her father, Steve Sharratt. She immersed herself in every aspect of the family business and was an integral part of the company for nearly two decades. As vice president, Jennifer was intimately involved in all facets of projects ranging from substantial remodels to 25,000 square-foot estates, and took a lead role in the company upon her father’s semi-retirement. She was responsible for overall operations and handled all project management, bringing many exceptional homes to completion.
Jennifer’s architectural background, combined with the experience she gained running multiple large custom home projects, has contributed significantly to her construction expertise and value engineering capabilities, while her tireless work ethic, foresight and commitment have proven essential to her management skills. Several of Jennifer’s projects have been featured in magazines, including San Diego Home/Garden’s “Kitchen of the Year” award.
With a firm belief in authenticity and integrity, Jennifer is dedicated to exceeding her clients’ expectations and carrying on the family tradition of excellence and distinction in custom home building.

STEVE SHARRATT, Advisor
Steve Sharratt is a second-generation custom home builder who began his career in the 1970’s building custom homes with his father in Beverly Hills and Palos Verdes. In 1977, Steve incorporated Sharratt Construction and quickly became one of the most prominent estate home builders in San Diego.
Steve has built luxury homes in San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County and the Coachella Valley and has completed nearly 350 custom home projects since his company’s inception. He has been awarded the prestigious Rancho Santa Fe Association Lily Award multiple times (1997, 2003 and 2006) and has seen his work displayed in numerous print publications. Since his retirement in 2021, Steve continues to pursue his lifelong passion for building through his advisory role with Sharratt Builders, as well as in his personal building ventures.
